Veronica found yoga after over 15 years playing high level sports. After retiring from varsity and provincial sports to study for the LSAT exam and heal from a knee injury, she quickly realized she didn’t know how to move her body without a coach telling her what to do. She soon found yoga, which allowed her to keep the athleticism she craved, while also learning how to slow down and listen to her body. Nearly 12 years later, Veronica has never looked back. Yoga has been a constant in her life, throughout both her Law Degrees, her legal practice, health challenges and diagnoses, and before and after playing still competitive, but less demanding, sports.
To celebrate her 11th year of yoga practice, Veronica decided to take the 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at De La Sol Yoga Studios in Hamilton. Now, she is teaching fun, creative, and athletic flows that satisfy her itch for fluid movement to upbeat music, and the quieting of the mind. When not on her mat or practicing law, you can Veronica drinking coffee somewhere in Europe.
