Charlene integrates the gnostic teachings of Earth-based wisdom with the spiritual and physical teachings of yoga. She leads thoughtful classes integrating pranayama, (breathwork), mantra (repetition), meditation (focus) with asana (posture) that build strength, flexibility, and a deep sense of well-being. Her goal is to help students re-claim their own internal body-mind wisdom so that they can connect to a yoga practice they will want to continue on a daily basis for the long-term.
As an educator, Charlene is influenced by the sociological lens of her formal education, the esoteric perspective of her experience as a spiritual mentor, and the promise of a different future that her current work in dream research gives. She is an advocate for social change and has been the driving force behind many cooperative actions that support collective thriving for all beings, including the Earth itself. She runs her own 200 - and 300- hour Yoga Teacher Trainings uniquely focused on activism, earth allyship, and the development of sustainable community networking skills.
