This 8 week session is specifically designed for the journey of pregnancy, interweaving childbirth education, tips, comfort measures and helpful positions to help with the birthing process. Each 60 minute class has a theme and a different educational focus. Class begins with a peaceful guided meditation with some breath work to help the mother connect with baby and learn techniques to calm the nervous system. This is followed by a gentle sequence to help warm up the body. We then flow into standing and balance sequences to help open the body, build strength and stamina to support the body as it changes through pregnancy. Exercises will also be done to help strengthen the uterus and pelvic floor muscles. Class ends with a cool down sequence, restorative poses and savasana to calm the body, mind and soul and help find stillness, connect back with baby and to feel inner peace and bliss. Gentle assists and massage are added to help release any tension that may exist. Prenatal yoga has been shown to improve circulation, aid in digestion and increase overall comfort. It can also alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy such as nausea, swelling, back pain and sciatica. This class is also a wonderful opportunity to connect with other expecting mothers and freely discuss any

issues, discomforts, questions and share experiences in a peaceful environment. You can join in at any stage of your pregnancy and no previous yoga experience is required.

Diana DiPaolo

Diana DiPaolo is passionate about promoting health and physical well-being within the community. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and went on to complete a Master of Science in Education. She became a certified personal trainer, fitness and yoga instructor to help individuals reach their health and wellness goals. She has also become a doula to be able to help expecting mothers with their journey through pregnancy, labour and delivery. It is one of Diana's goals to help create the best birth experience for mothers and their partners by providing continuous physical, educational and emotional support before, during and after the birth. She enjoys teaching prenatal yoga and workshops to help expecting mothers on this journey.

As a health coach, she also teaches workshops on Ayurveda, healthy living and essential oils. She educates individuals on simple ways to get healthier, provides ways to get rid of synthetics in our lives and shares easy natural recipes. She looks forward to working with you, to help you find your inner and outer bliss.
